Hi There!

I would love to see you blog about new items that are coming up especially organic baby items. I am a big beleiver in supporting australian business, so it would also be great if we could see a buy australian blog so we can purchase things from you that are made locally.

I would love to see a blog about games to play using your cute items or making our own. I have searched the internet and found the overused or silly ideas. For a person hosting a baby shower for the first time, knowing what games to choose that everyone will enjoy, can be a bit daunting.

Hi Baby Shower Shop

I would love to get more ideas for a unknown sex baby shower gift... Its hard to come up with pressies when you don't know what the sex of the baby is other than white or yellow clothes, would love a different angle on it! Also I agree with Shane- All the baby showers I have been to, everyone dreads playing the games and its hard to get everyone motivated... I'd love to get some new game ideas or game purchases for the next baby shower I throw. Thanks, Taryn

I would love to see you blog about organic items, I only use organic stuff for my baby girl and think there isn't enough out there for babies (or it's not easy to find) I would also love to see you blog about 1st birthday parties (I know your a baby shower shop but you could expand and do great stuff)

Hi! I'd love to see you blog about baby showers (& events) people have thrown using items they have purchased from you & what else they have done (food, games etc). When organising my shower I searched the web for ideas & was so happy when I found your site (I've been back & purchased for 2 more showers since then for family & friends!)
Thanks! :)

It would be great if you could blog about what friends (without children and unfortunately without a clue) would get new mothers. I am 22 years old and three of my close friends are either pregnant or have just had their babies.
I feel like all of my gifts appear to be thoughtless or clueless. In truth, they are, as I don't have a clue what they actually want or need.

Am loving all your comments and already bursting at the seams to write about all your suggestions. Local made products are so hard to find. We do support some local WAHM's which is awesome (see our nappy and pram cakes). Organic items.. wouldnt organic invites be wonderful! Now that's an idea! I hear what you are saying about games. Most of all they should be fun... more to come ;) Neutral gifts.. we have a few but interestingly enough, we just had a telephone call from a lady who has created a Mum & Bub yoga DVD. A review copy is on its way! Please keep the comments coming, am loving reading them and you are all inspiring me to blog blog blog!

Katrocks... great idea! As a mum of three small children (3, 5 and 6 - yes I am mad lol) it's easy to forget what it was like *pre-kids*. Thanks for the idea. Please keep them coming (even if you are all making it super hard to choose the best one.. I see a few runner up prizes being added ;))

I would love to see more ideas on themed baby showers (similar to your rubber ducky post). It would be great to get some ideas ranging from invites, deco, colour scheme, food etc. that all revolve around one central theme/colour scheme.

How about subsequent baby showers? Or Welcome baby showers?
I'm also mad (2 1/2, 14 month old and one due in 5 weeks and still want more lol) and I never find out the sex.
At my babyshower for my first I got a lot of yellow, whites and greens because I didn't know the sex, didn't do a shower with #2 but this time I would like to have a meet the baby kind of thing shortly after the birth as I don't want everyone dropping in at the hospital or having lots of visitors for days after coming home. Would be much easier to have them all visit at once (and only have to clean once lol)

Katrocks I now cringe at what I bought friends that had babies/kids for presents now I have my own. My older brother now buys mine all noisy toys after I bought his eldest a toy drum kit one year lol.

Hi, I found when i was hosting a baby shower we couldnt find any prizes that we could use as a door prize, something bit bigger then anything you had on your site, and a bit more personal to say thank you for coming, we ended up getting a body shop pack which was perfect. I think that would have been great if yo have stuff like that. And Like someone else said if you had more netural tings in your shop other then just boy/girl things.s

How about a guide on how to throw a baby shower? I know it seems simple enough but when u have such a huge range of things to use it's easy to get overwhelmed! I'm planning one at the moment for my best friend & although I have the theme sorted, there's food, games, decorations, prizes and so on! It'd be great to get tips on what works best, when to decide u have enough food etc x

Oh I am laughing so much at the drum kit gift! I also bought one thinking I was SUCH a cool Aunty. I now think if someone bought me that, I must have really done something to upset them ;P I am researching some ideas inspired by all your great suggestions. I also loved putting together the Rubber Ducky themed post so there will definitely be more themed ideas coming soon! x

The following is an entry from Alice emailed in as she couldn't log in.

*From Alice*

I would love to see you blog about a few things like past Shower experiences by mums, the meaning of a shower and the true sentiment of a shower for new mums and more chatting about the more sentimental side of a shower. I love info about new products as well. Things like baby books and journalling the mother/child path would be great too :)

We have lots of stuff for neutral baby showers and we are currently adding sub categories to make it easier to find them. We also have a planning guide (under the *Information* link at the top of the page) but it is in desperate need of updating - yet another thing on the agenda. http://www.thebabyshowershop.com.au/store/pc/Planning-a-Baby-Shower-d1.htm
Please keep the suggestions coming!!

Hey :-)
I would love to see baby shower food / snacks / nibbles ideas. It would be great to see them under theme sections but also some yummy recipes and good old favourites that are easy/simple to make but make your mouth melt! I love the cupcakes & biscuits ideas but I feel that the food at my baby shower was the link between people that didn't know each other and every baby shower I now attend, I try to take a plate or two of yummy bite sized delights! Maybe I have been watching too much masterchef LoL and possibly some finger food ideas for toddlers/babies as well (as most baby showers tend to have little tackers at them these days too). Thanks!

Hi There!

I'd like to see some more information on having a second baby shower and how to go about it when you have two babies close together.

:)

I would love to see you blog about peoples experiences using your items at baby showers and possibly photos of what their showers look like. I think that it is good to see how other people set up their parties using your items.

Host a competition giving away a mother2B's dream baby shower. i.e You treat the mum to getting her hair and makeup done whilst you help her family decorate the party room using your products that she selected, complete with party favors and all! You stay to photograph the party and blog about how you made her day!

My other ideas to blog about are... food and drink ideas for the party esp finger foods that are suitable for the expecting mother.
.. Photo taking tips & ideas to help capture the best moments.
..Feature must have pregnancy outfits.
